Who We Are
Veso helps build an accurate, thoughtful, intentional footprint that will be foundational for the collection’s next step.

Creating artwork is only part of an artist's legacy. Preserving it is equally important.
Veso was founded by Michael and Nataisiah Marrella through a shared belief that artists, estates, and collectors deserve thoughtful support in caring for the work entrusted to them.
Through years of experience supporting artist studios, fabrication projects, installations, collection-based initiatives, and estate stewardship work, we developed a deep appreciation for the work that happens beyond the finished artwork itself.
That perspective deepened through ongoing estate stewardship work involving hundreds of artworks, archives, and records, revealing not only the complexity of managing a collection, but also the importance of preserving the story behind the work.
Today, Veso supports artists, estates, and collectors through collection organization, documentation, coordination, digitization, installation support, and long-term stewardship.
We believe every collection holds more than objects. It holds years of work, relationships, ideas, and history. Through thoughtful stewardship, we help preserve what matters and prepare it for what comes next.

The name Veso is inspired by the Haitian Creole word for vessel. For us, it represents the idea of being vessels of honor—objects, collections, and legacies that deserve thoughtful care, stewardship and respect. This belief continues to shape how we approach each body of work, from the documentation and organization to the long-term collection support.
